ACCC does not oppose Pact Group / Synergy Packaging deal

The ACCC will not opposed the proposed acquisition of Synergy Packaging by Pact Group Holdings. Both are manufacturers and suppliers of ‘non-beverage rigid PET plastic containers’. The ACCC concluded the parties were not close competitors and the deal would not be likely to substantially lessen competition.
