Perfection Fresh admits cartel conduct
The ACCC has announced that Perfection Fresh has admitted cartel conduct in relation to the price of vegetables supplied to ALDI. It has agreed to jointly submit that they be ordered to pay $12m in penalties.
This follows proceedings launched by the ACCC in September 2025 alleging Perfection Fresh and others (Veli Velisha Fresh Produce, Velisha National Farms, Hydro Produce (Aust)) engaged in cartel conduct in relation to the supply of fresh produce to ALDI stores in NSW, Victoria and Queensland between 2018-2024.
An Administrative Listing was heard before Justice Anderson earlier today.
