Chapters in the CCA

In addition to bringing about significant merger reform, the Treasury Laws Amendment (Mergers and Acquisitions Reform) Act 2024 (Act 137 of 2024) created chapters in the CCA designed to increase readability. These are effective from 1 July 2025.

They are:
