RPM notification raises concerns

The ACCC proposes to revoke a resale price maintenance notification lodged by Graco Australia, a paint spraying equipment distributor. In the notification Graco proposes setting a minimum advertised price for its range of airless and air assisted paint sprayers.

The ACCC considers that the likely detriments will outweigh any public benefits, noting the market is highly concentrated.
