Professor Ross Garnaut delivers Bannerman Lecture

This year’s Bannerman Competition Lecture was delivered by Professor Garnaut, Emeritus Professor in Economics at The Australian National University and an Emeritus Professor in Business and Economics at the University of Melbourne.

‘Professor Garnaut spoke on the growth of oligopolies in Australia and overseas, the future of the green energy sector and appropriate regulations and the role of the ACCC in preventing market concentration where possible and regulating concentrated markets where they occur. He also provided insights during the Q&A session into how the problems we currently face might be tackled through a variety of policy settings.’
