Sims on boosting Australia’s economic prosperity and fairness

In his final address to the National Press Club as ACCC Chair, Rod Sims has focused on what is needed to improve prosperity and ‘restore faith in the market economy’. This includes laws ‘laws against unfair trading practices, new rules for dominant digital platforms, infrastructure reform and changes to privacy and merger laws’.
