Jason Ellis convicted for obstructing cartel investigate

Jason Ellis, former general manager of sales and marketing at BlueScope Steel Limited, has been sentenced to eight months imprisonment for inciting the obstruction of an ACCC cartel investigation.

ACCC Chair, Rod Sims, noted that this was the ‘first time an individual has bene charged with, and convicted of, inciting the obstruction of an ACCC investigation’.
