Baxt Lecture 2019

The 10th Annual Baxt lecturer was held on Tuesday 15 October 2019

The keynote speaker was Prof Christopher Yoo (John H. Chestnut Professor of Law, Communication, and Computer & Information Science and the Founding Director of the Center for Technology, Innovation and Competition at the University of Pennsylvania.), speaking on ‘Competition Law and “Big Data”: what Does it Mean for Data to Be “Big”?’

This was followed by a panel discussion on current developments in greater data access and portability - with a particular focus on the new Consumer Data Right in Australia.
